Gunung Telapa Buruk, Negeri Sembilan

27th February 2011
Duration: 4 hours

MNS Selangor Branch Bird group organised a trip for Birdwatching on a Sunday morning at Gunung Telapa Buruk, Negeri Sembilan.
I woke up at 4am just so to make sure I will arrive at the meeting point on time. Mr Tang was kind enough to lend me a seat in his car.

"MNS LAMIBA Beginner Birding" Training Workshop Day 3

That morning we had some not-so-good weather, so we decided to head back to Jelai Highland Resort for round 2!
White-throated Fantail
Birds in Jelai are very tame, used to being around people. 1 guy was using his cheapo-phone to snap the bird like 10cm away!
If you don't have a long lens, I'd say this is the place you want to be at! All my pictures were taken using 18-105mm lens :p

"MNS LAMIBA Beginner Birding" Training Workshop Day 2

Met up in Jelai Highland Resort @ 7am for birding.

Our first bird was a Long Tailed Sibia. A common bird in Fraser's Hill but still, a lifer for some of us!
